Paris Interpreters Practice Sessions

Who are we?

The aim of the group is to enable practicing interpreters to work on their skills together in a friendly environment. As we are a peer practice group, all participants must be willing to contribute equally to the sessions by giving live speeches and feedback. The sessions run online for the time being, twice a month.

Who can join us?

The group is open to any qualified interpreter (i.e. anyone who holds an MA or equivalent in conference interpreting and/or has 3+ years of experience as a conference interpreter). as we are not interpreting trainers and we feel that attending a deliberate practice group like PIPS should under no circumstances replace formal training.

What languages do we offer?

English and French always; Russian, Spanish, Italian, German, based on schedule.

Other languages (such as Arabic and Portuguese) have been offered; other languages may be added on demand.
